On any given day, you will have problems. And things will go wrong. Your car will overheat. Someone will cut you off in traffic. You might have a headache. Your co-worker will throw acheter viagra you under the bus. Someone will hate on you for no good reason. Your computer will crash.

But in the very same day, you will have opportunities. You will make the perfect business connection. You’ll learn a new skill. You’ll finish a project you’ve been working on. You’ll eat the perfect sushi roll. Your kid will say, “I love you…” at just the right time and your heart will melt.

There will always be problems. There will always be opportunities.  When you get into your head about any of the problems, those problems become important.

When you focus on the opportunities, those opportunities become important.
How many times do you announce your problems? Your haters? The things that weigh you down?

Juxtapose that with how many times you focus on your opportunities? Your blessings? The perfect sushi roll?

I had a conversation with someone and they asked me why I’m always posting quotes, and affirmations on Instagram & Facebook? And that my life can’t be that good.

My response to him was… “As opposed to posting all my problems? Or that I was running late for a meeting? Or that I might have a hater or two?”

The problem with focusing on bad things is that it can keep you from focusing on good things. Complaining can keep you from focusing on growing.

Focusing on the good does not mean the bad doesn’t exist, it just means that you’re more likely to have a positive outlook when dealing with the bad.

What I’m saying is this; a positive outlook creates more positivity.

What you focus on expands.

So, as much as you can, find the positive.

Because that is what the world needs.
